Fair trade fanatics Yellow Sunrise celebrate sixth anniversary at Leeds Corn Exchange

Home to gifts and homewares from around the globe, Yellow Sunrise has just celebrated its 6th anniversary of successful trading here with us. Now one of 28 independent businesses located beneath the stunning domed roof, Yellow Sunrise was amongst the first to make Leeds Corn Exchange its home, following its reopening in 2008.

Founded in 2003 by Maria Huang, Yellow Sunrise is a treasure trove of unique pieces from every continent, specialising in gorgeous gifts and handsome homewares. A browse around the shop, which is an oasis of bright colours and tropical scents, takes you on a journey around the world; with Indian rugs, Moroccan glass lanterns and African elephant ornaments being just some of Yellow Sunrise’s best sellers. The business is a champion of handcrafted work and is a strong supporter of fair trade.
